What you deposit, what you hold
You deposit FABLES, or a veFABLES NFT you already hold. Sink merges it into one lock at the maximum, with auto-max on, and gives you sFABLES 1:1 on the FABLES inside. The lock behind sFABLES never unlocks. The contract has no switch to turn auto-max off.

Lock it yourself, or lock it here
A veFABLES lock pays the same whether you hold it or Sink does. What changes is the work, the exit, and the weight behind the vote.
| Your own lock | Through Sink | |
|---|---|---|
| The vote | You, every Tuesday, or the week's income is forfeit | Cast once a week for the whole block |
| Claiming | Each pool you voted, each token it paid, every week | Claimed once and sent to you |
| The exit | None for two years | Sell sFABLES, any day |
| Your weight | Your lock alone | Part of one block teams negotiate with |
| The rebase | Yours, if you voted and claimed it | Paid to the lock, claimed for you; handling published before open |
| The cost | Gas and Tuesdays | A fixed published cut to vlSINK |
What the block earns
Sink votes the whole pool as one block every week. On the pools it votes, Fables pays it the following. The income comes back to sFABLES holders, net of a fixed published cut to vlSINK lockers, every week, in the tokens it was earned in.

Who steers it
vlSINK. Lock SINK for a fixed term and it votes once per epoch on where the block goes, and takes the platform cut. Liquid SINK earns nothing. Weight nobody directs follows the house allocation. The team holds a voting key that submits the tally and nothing else.

The week
If you are claiming points
Fables pays the points allocation in three ways. Only one of them pays it in full.
| Option | Share of allocation | Can you sell | Votes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Liquid | 30 to 60% | Yes | No |
| Six-month lock | 80% | No | Yes, weight decays |
| Auto-max | 100% | No | Yes, full weight |
Claim auto-max. Hold the NFT. Deposit when Sink opens.
claim window open until 20 Nov, deposits open inside it
One message when deposits open
Leave an X handle or an email. You get one message when the contract is live and deposits are open, and nothing else, ever. If you say how many FABLES you hold or will claim, it is added to the total above and never shown on its own.
Questions
Can I get my FABLES back?
No. The exit is selling sFABLES. The lock has no switch to turn auto-max off.
What keeps sFABLES near one FABLES?
A pool Sink seeds and defends, SINK paid directly to the LPs of that pool, and the treasury buying under par out of its cut.
Is Sink live?
Not yet. The contracts are in build and review. Their addresses and the review report go on the Docs page the day they are published; until then nothing here takes a deposit. Deposits open inside the claim window, 20 Oct to 20 Nov.
Does holding sFABLES give me a vote?
No. sFABLES earns; vlSINK votes.
Can I deposit a six-month lock?
Yes. It is extended to auto-max on deposit and arrives with the 80% it claimed.
I run a pool on Fables. How do I get the block?
Post incentives on your gauge, and keep real staked liquidity in it. The house allocation ranks pools by fees plus incentives per vote, so both move the block toward you. The Docs page has the detail for teams.
